There is a Song

By Jane L. Fitzpatrick (April 8, 1980)

Precious days,
Flowing by,
Loving times,
Make me sigh.

Gentle thoughts,
Caress my mind,
And this heart within,
Feels fine.

What a blessing,
Have I now,
To the Inner Peace,
I bow…

Bow my head,
In gracious praise,
For Spirits light,
Has filled my days.

Can this love for all
Be real?
I only know,
That Spirit heals.

My faith won’t waiver,
In the storm,
This I claim,
Each rainy morn.

Sereneness hovers,
A Heavenly calm,
To hear in my soul,
There is a song.
